Privacy Policy

TDP Diagnostics ("the app") is an internal staff application operated by BAVYA Health Services for the Telugu Desam Party to run blood-test health camps. This policy explains what data the app processes and your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

Who uses this app

Only authorised camp staff sign in to this app. Citizens attending a camp do not log in; their information is entered by staff on their behalf, with their consent captured at registration.

Data we process

• Personal information: name, age, gender, contact number, address.
• Government identification: Aadhaar number (only if voluntarily provided) and TDP membership ID.
• Health information: vital signs and laboratory test results.
• Photos: a selfie, only where the camp workflow requires it.

Why we process it

Solely to (a) register camp attendees, (b) link laboratory samples to the correct person via barcode, (c) record clinical results, and (d) deliver reports to the citizen. We do not use this data for marketing, advertising, profiling, or sale.

How data is handled & secured

• Transmitted over encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections to our backend at diagnostics.bhspl.in.
• Access is restricted by per-user staff logins and role-based permissions.
• Retained only as long as clinically necessary or as required by law.

Permissions the app requests

• Camera — to scan patient sample barcodes and, where applicable, capture a selfie.
• Internet — to sync data securely with our backend.

Your rights (DPDP Act, 2023)

You have the right to access, correct, and request erasure of your data, to withdraw consent, and to grievance redressal. To request access or deletion, see our Account & Data Deletion page or contact the Grievance Officer below.

Children

This app is a staff tool and is not directed at children.
